A college student rented a third floor apartment in a complex managed by a
Chinese landlord. After the student signed the agreement the landlord said "I tell you now, no parties, no noise." However, as soon as he got to his room he called several of his friends and invited them to come over Saturday and help him celebrate. The group arrived and the drinking, loud music and yelling brought several complaints, and at 10:30 the landlord knocked on the door and said "I tell you before, no parties, no parties." The student tried to calm him down by inviting him in for a drink. "No, I tell you no parties." Annoyed now, the student shouted "Ah, up your ass!" and slammed the door in his face. Finally, the party ended and the student went to bed. Around 4 a.m. he suddenly awoke with a heavy feeling on his chest. He snapped on the light and found a large rock with a note that read "Honorable Chinese Curse Number One". Cursing the landlord, he got to his feet and struggled to the window and tossed the rock out. As it turned over he saw another note which read "Honorable Chinese Curse Number Two -- Rock tied to cock!"
